August Communion Rail Offering

August Communion Rail Offering: Sacks of Snacks

We have a big update on the Sacks of Snacks Program!  The program will be implemented through a new community partnership developed through the school district, including area churches & businesses. The new program is called LIFT. For the 2006-2007 school year, supplies for the Sacks of Snacks program will be purchased at a reduced cost through Care Services and delivered to our packing center at the Coleman Building on Hwy 77, where we packed last year. We’ll have new tables & new storage bins to keep the food safe & clean. Agnes Hejtmanck from our church will be the coordinator. Volunteers from FUMC will continue to pack & deliver as we always have for the last 15 years. Our giving & volunteering will be vital to feeding all the children in need.  So this month, please consider donating to support providing healthy meals and snacks to children in Waxahachie on weekends.
